Inland, cross-border and intercontinental transport are wide-ranging areas that require the use of many vehicles, including several different solutions at the same time. In order to minimise the separate factors that could have an adverse effect, we are careful to do the following.

- Advanced logistics, tour optimisation. Our knowledge of land, rail, sea and air routes lets us plan our shipments in such a way to avoid unnecessary travel of certain distances when shorter, safer alternative routes are available.
- Appropriate selection of means of transport. Often switching from ship to rail or other substitutions ensures emissions are reduced while shipments reach their destination on the previously agreed date.
- Reducing the amount of transhipment. An appropriately planned track makes it possible to deliver a shipment to another country or another part of the world without being kept waiting in transshipment areas or by reducing these phases to the absolute minimum.
- Fully loading areas. By ensuring that as many services as possible involve full-container/full-load shipments, we decrease the overall mileage travelled and, therefore, reduce used fuel and emissions.
- Modern monitoring. Localising containers in real time, scheduling and planning the validity of individual transport stages, checking for current obstructions and reacting to them by changing modes of transport are among the common yet effective options.
